One of our customer from Wellington, New Zealand ordered some 5000L and 10000L open top wine fermentation tanks from our factory in August, after about 50 days of production, at end of October we arranged the shipping to them.
Open top wine fermentation tank is a type of vessel used in winemaking, typically made of stainless steel or food-grade plastic. Unlike closed fermentation tanks, open top tanks allow for natural oxygen exchange, which can enhance the development of flavors and aromas in the wine. This method is particularly common for red wine fermentation, as it allows for better cap management, where the grape skins rise to the surface during fermentation. Winemakers can easily punch down or stir the cap to extract color and tannins from the skins. Open top tanks also facilitate temperature control and allow for the monitoring of fermentation progress.
